The type filter

This filter allows you to select items that have a 'type' field that matches the value entered here.

This filter can be used in conjunction with the 'date' and 'find' filters, or it can be used alone. However, note that the four fast key buttons provide separate fast filters for four user-selectable item types.

The date filter

This filter allows you to select items that have their date field in the range entered here.

To make it easier to enter the date range, there are two buttons to set a seven day or fourteen day date range. To use these buttons, select the required button, leave the end date field blank, enter the start date in the start date field and press the enter key.

As an extra convenience, if you leave the start date field blank and press the enter key (while the cursor is in the start date field) then the current date will be used for the start date.

There is a separate checkbox to indicate whether anniversary style dates should be included in the filter selection.

Note that a separate 'Today' button (marked with the # symbol) provides an instant filter on items that match the current date only.

The find filter

This filter allows you to find items that contain an entered text string. The text may occur in either the item code, item name or the item text fields. The search is not case-sensitive.
